Consistency, Trust, and Autism-Informed Practice

For many autistic people, a support relationship only works when it stays consistent. We do our best to send the same carers to each person, and when a new face is needed we introduce them slowly, using social stories, gradual introductions, and planned transition support so that change never feels abrupt.

We also work closely with families, speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, and other professionals. The strategies everyone agrees on are carried through consistently, and we keep families up to date with regular, accessible progress reports.

Frequently Asked Questions

We provide person-centred support built around each individual: keeping routines consistent, supporting communication preferences, managing sensory sensitivities, helping with daily living, and building independence.
Yes. All staff supporting autistic individuals receive autism awareness and autism-specific training. We also keep carers consistent, because the same familiar faces help build trust and reduce anxiety.
Yes. Many of our clients have co-occurring conditions including ADHD, anxiety, epilepsy, or learning disabilities. Our nurse-led team ensures all conditions are factored into the care plan.
Choice and control are central to our approach. We always seek the individual's own views and preferences, adapting how we communicate as needed so their voice is heard.
