Nurse-led domiciliary care, live-in care, and specialist support for older adults and people with complex needs across Kentish Town, Hampstead, Bloomsbury, Gospel Oak, and Belsize Park.
Kome Care is an independent, nurse-led care provider delivering person-centred home care across the London Borough of Camden, subject to the person’s location, assessed needs and whether we can establish a safe, sustainable care team. The borough is home to some of the country's leading hospitals, among them University College Hospital on Euston Road, the Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead, and the internationally renowned Great Ormond Street Hospital nearby. Where health or social-care professionals are already involved and appropriate information-sharing arrangements are in place, we can liaise with discharge teams and social workers, and follow the agreed care and escalation plans for someone returning to their own home.
Camden is a densely populated, diverse borough, and its housing reflects that. There are Victorian terraces in Kentish Town and Belsize Park and modern apartments in Bloomsbury and Gospel Oak. Our carers are local residents who know the borough's neighbourhoods, community resources, and transport links. Where a package is arranged or funded through London Borough of Camden Adult Social Care (020 7974 4444), we work to the arrangements agreed with them, and we support clients funded through direct payments, personal budgets or private arrangements.
All care begins with a thorough, no-obligation assessment in your home. A Kome Care coordinator will take the time to understand your daily routine, health conditions, preferences, and goals. The care plan that follows is written around you and reviewed regularly as your needs change. Our carers are DBS-checked and trained in moving and handling, medication management, dementia awareness, and safeguarding adults.
Some clients need a carer calling in each morning to help with washing and dressing. Others need a live-in carer in the home providing planned support through the day. Kome Care can put together a package for either, and where someone needs continuous active support day and night we arrange an appropriate staffing and rota model rather than relying on one carer around the clock. We are particularly experienced in supporting Camden residents living with dementia, Parkinson's, MS, and post-stroke conditions, helping them stay independent in the place they know best: their own home.
Our Camden care coordinators will arrange an assessment as quickly as the person’s needs and our staffing allow, and confirm the timescale with you.

It is for people whose needs go beyond routine support — significant or changing health needs, delegated healthcare tasks, complex medication, neurological conditions, or clinical interventions that need proper oversight.
We keep an honest distinction between capabilities we already hold and can deploy after assessment, and interventions we can consider but would need to build for your specific package — recruiting, training and competency-assessing staff before care begins. That distinction matters most to case managers and discharge teams, because it is the difference between a package that starts next week and one that needs a month of preparation.
Acceptance depends on the person’s assessed needs, location, staffing, the competencies required, equipment, safe rostering and clinical arrangements. We look at:
What the person actually needs, and what could go wrong.
Which clinical tasks are involved and who is signed off to do them.
The right people, trained for this package rather than in general.
Whether the rota can be sustained, not just started.
Who gets called, and how quickly, when something changes.
If we cannot put those in place safely, we will tell you so rather than accept the package and work it out afterwards.
Our full clinical capability list separates what we already do routinely from what needs building for your package.
