Person-centred home care across the London Borough of Hackney
Kome Care is a CQC-registered home care agency providing compassionate domiciliary care throughout the London Borough of Hackney. The borough is served mainly by Homerton University Hospital, part of Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, which delivers acute and community health services to local residents. Clients being discharged from Homerton, or from hospitals in the nearby Barts Health NHS Trust network, can rely on Kome Care to set up prompt home care that supports a safe return to independent living.
Hackney is one of inner London's most vibrant and densely populated boroughs. It takes in the cultural mix of Dalston and Ridley Road Market, the green open spaces of Clissold Park in Stoke Newington, and the creative communities of Hoxton and Shoreditch. Our care teams reflect that variety. Many of our carers are fluent in additional languages and are used to delivering culturally sensitive care across a wide range of backgrounds and beliefs.
We work in close partnership with the London Borough of Hackney Adult Social Care team (020 8356 3000) and with local community health services, so that every client gets the right level of support. The care we provide is the same whether a package is arranged through a local authority referral, a direct payment, or private funding: professional, compassionate, and centred on the individual.
Our approach begins with a full home assessment by one of our care coordinators, who will take time to understand your medical history, daily routines, preferences, and goals. The care plan is then written up, checked by a registered nurse, and reviewed regularly, so it keeps pace with your needs as they change. Our carers are fully DBS-checked and trained in infection control, medication management, moving and handling, and safeguarding.
