How quickly will you respond to my enquiry?

We aim to respond to all enquiries within the same working day. If you send a message outside office hours, a care coordinator will contact you first thing the next morning. For urgent matters, please call us directly on 02080 755966, where our on-call manager is available 24 hours a day.

How do referrals from healthcare professionals work?

We accept referrals from GPs, district nurses, hospital discharge teams, social workers, ICBs, and care coordinators. The quickest route is to email info@komecare.co.uk or call us directly. For urgent hospital discharges, we can usually mobilise a care package within 24–48 hours.

What areas of London do you cover?

We provide home care across all 32 London boroughs. Our primary areas include Tower Hamlets, Hackney, Newham, Southwark, Lambeth, Lewisham, Wandsworth, Westminster, Camden, Islington, Haringey, Barnet, Waltham Forest, and Redbridge, though we serve the whole of Greater London. Can a family member make an enquiry on someone else's behalf?

Absolutely. Family members, friends, carers, and legal representatives can all make enquiries on behalf of someone who needs care. We simply ask that the person receiving care (or their legal representative) provides consent before a formal care assessment is arranged. We will guide you through this process.

Is there any obligation after a care assessment?

None at all. Our care assessments are free and carry no obligation to proceed. We will provide a written care plan and transparent cost breakdown after the assessment, and you can take as much time as you need to decide. Many families contact us simply to understand their options.

Do you provide care for people with dementia or complex needs?

Yes. We provide specialist dementia care, complex clinical care, and support for people living with Parkinson's disease, acquired brain injury, autism, learning disabilities, and palliative care needs. A registered nurse plans and oversees every specialist package. Contact us to discuss your requirements.
