We publish our rates openly and provide a written, itemised quote before any care begins. There are no hidden charges and no surprises, just honest, nurse-led care.
All rates below are indicative starting rates. Your personalised written quote will reflect the exact type, frequency, and complexity of care required. Rates are reviewed annually and are VAT exempt under Group 7 (Health and Welfare) of VATA 1994.
Our Rates
Every service is delivered by trained, DBS-checked carers under registered nurse oversight. Rates reflect our CQC registration, nurse-led management structure, and 24/7 on-call support.
Flexible hourly visits for personal care, medication, meals, and daily living. Minimum 1-hour visit. Rates vary by time of day and complexity.

Enhanced rates apply on weekends and UK bank holidays to reflect the real cost of staffing outside standard hours. These rates are set out clearly in your written care agreement before care begins, so there are no surprises on your invoice.

Funding Options
Many families are surprised to discover that home care can be fully or partially funded. Below are the main routes to financial support in England, and our advisors can help you explore eligibility at no cost.
NHS Continuing Healthcare
Fully funded by the NHS for individuals whose primary care needs are health-based. Assessed via the Decision Support Tool (DST). We support you through the eligibility process and can be commissioned directly by your ICB.
Can be 100% fundedLocal Authority Funded Care
If you qualify through a care needs assessment under the Care Act 2014, your council may fund part or all of your care. A financial means test applies, and the upper capital limit is currently £23,250.
Means-tested supportDirect Payments
If you qualify for local authority funding, you may receive a Direct Payment: a cash sum you control. You can choose Kome Care as your provider for flexibility and continuity.
Maximum flexibilityAttendance Allowance
A benefit for people aged 65+ who need help with personal care. Not means-tested. Paid at the lower rate (£72.65/week) or higher rate (£108.55/week). Can be used to directly offset care costs.
Not means-testedPersonal Independence Payment
For working-age adults (under 65) with a long-term health condition or disability. The daily living component of PIP can help cover care costs regardless of income or savings.
For working-age adultsPrivate / Self-Funded Care
Many families fund care privately via savings, property sale, equity release, or private insurance. We offer flexible packages with no long-term contracts. Payment is typically monthly in advance.
